Welcome to the Castilla y León bike tour 2025, an inspiring 12-day adventure through the beautiful landscapes of the Sierra de la Demanda, in the province of Burgos. Get ready to embark on a journey full of dialogue and transformative learning experiences.
Over the course of these twelve days, we cycled more than 200 kilometres, immersing ourselves in the scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage of this extraordinary region. Our route took us through charming villages and rolling hills, offering a truly immersive exploration of rural life.
But this journey was not just about the landscapes; it was also about the people and the initiatives that define sustainable rural development. We had the incredible opportunity to discover and connect with 12 local projects that exemplified the spirit of innovation, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. From agroecology to ecotourism, from cultural conservation to renewable energy, each project revealed a unique story of resilience, creativity, and a quest for a sustainable future.
